Here's how it works. First, we build a real fibreglass and epoxy surfboard. Unlike a foamy, it is stiffer, which gives performance. We then wrap it in two types of foam. On the deck, a layer of low density foam for comfort, and a layer of high density foam that forms a slick skin on the bottom for durability and speed.
