The Superfish 4 (SF4) is an amalgamation of the Superfish 3 shape, with some old design features from the past. While still targeted at surfer’s looking for a high volume modern fish shape, we believe this is our best Superfish yet; offering the perfect balance of stability and turning response.

OUTLINE: Wider nose, fuller outline up front, and parallel rails create a large stable platform through to middle to generate speed. We’ve eliminated the flyer making a smoother curve in the back half of the board. The tail outline tapers so you can make tighter radius turns when you position your back foot right on the tail. The swallow tail also adds bite especially in smoother conditions.
DESIGN: The return of the original step deck! This feature increases volume through the spine and out towards the rails, creates a flatter deck, while allowing for a lower, more sensitive feeling rail. Single-to-double concave delivers a very consistent and predictable feel, without restricting speed or the ability to transition quickly from rail-to-rail between turns.
ROCKER: The 3 stage rocker is well balanced, with just enough flip in the entry to prevent nose-diving in steeper waves. The flatter mid section maintains forward drive and flow. Moderate curve out the tail presents the opportunity to really jam a nice turn when pushing harder off your back foot.
FOIL: We’ve added volume to this model, under the chest and extending towards the nose and tail. This provides amazing paddle power so you can get into waves early.
PERFORMANCE: Renowned for its wave catching prowess, this model really does appeal to a wide demographic. It’s the perfect board if you’ve just started turning and you want to progress to the next level of performance. Or maybe you’re getting a little older, you’re struggling on a smaller board, and you want to keep turning. From knee high, to well overhead, the SF4 will keep you coming back for more.
The 7S Super Fish does not come with fins. See spec table below for suggested template.

Love the superfish. This is my 3rd board of this series and it feels like it is their best work so far. Super easy to catch waves and surprisingly loose and easy to make speed. Definitely recommend. Surfing it from anywhere waisthigh to overhead. Also want to point out the excellent customer service at surfindustries. Last board arrived with a small ding and they made it very easy to resolve that issue. Will definitely be coming back once I have an itch for another board. I am 188cm, 205lbs and have the 7' superfish.

This was my first board , excellently selected for me by Nick at underground surf . That day 7 years ago changed my life ... I was able to go out and ride the 7’3 at 53L In the whitewash straight away . Now 7 years later my whole life revolves around surfing ...
7 years later and I still use this same 7 year old board when the conditions suit . I’ve ridden it on knee high east coast days up to triple overhead at namotu lefts , cloud break Fiji .
The board is a fast paddler , is stable and fast on the wave . I am often riding it as a quad but it rides equally well as a thruster . After 7 years of ridding with it still going strong ... I can whole heartedly recommend this board to you .

This board was suggested to me as a first board about 7 years ago from Nick at underground surf and it did not disappoint ! I was standing up on it from day one and that moment changed my life , it began what appears to have become a lifelong passion for surfing . It depicts where I holiday now ... who I spend time with ... how much I work ...
The board = Stable and fast
I still use it regularly 7 years later and my friends are always offering to buy it from me but I would never sell this one . It has taught me too much and taken me too far and still rips .

Have a 7’3 and a 6’8, I liked the 7’3 but loved the 6’8! I am a bigger surfer and the construction of the board was great. Took boards to Samoa and Tonga and both held up well to airline travel. Fin set ups are good to play with having 5 fin options. These boards work great with quads but also are a heap of fun as a twin with stabiliser! I recommend getting a few inches longer than your height if starting and a few inches shorter than your height if more advanced.

Love the 7S Superfish. This is a very user friendly model for an intermediate woman surfer, and I've actually purchased two over the years. I find a lot of fish and 'friendly' shortboard shapes are too high in volume for my weight, but this has a really good balance of volume vs length and suits pretty much any kind of surf!

I was looking for a board to transition down from a longboard and the Superfish hit the spot.
I found it easy to paddle and definitely helped my progress my surfing.

Good easy to ride and catch waves board. I'm 71 years and needed to move up to a more stable board that still carves. Have set up as a quad and has speed and good turning.

Great board and just gives you the needed confidence that it will perform when it matters. I started surfing on long boards and bought a 7'0. Because of this board, I can now surf shorter boards (6'2) and be confident with my ability. Just a great board to have for all surf conditions

Bought an 8' board for travel to Bali and NZ, then another 7' for Sumatra, these have become favourites in smalll local surf, solid down south and overseas, I ride them as twinnies for a skaty feel then thrusters and quads for solid days. Could not say enough good things about them, excellent value, durable, light, great rails, good paddle on power. Will be buying another.

I like the wave catching ability of this design and stability as well as the ability to rube thru fat areas on a wave.
The rocker can be an issue on steep take offs but As I am getting on in years I enjoy the extra volume and help to catch waves.

The Superfish was a game changer for me. I bought one years ago and it completely improved surfing for me without a doubt. It is a paddling machine. It's fast as hell. It feels light underfoot. It put my wave count through the roof AND it was very durable. I believe if it wasn't for me getting on a Superfish, my surfing would have really stagnated. It goes in anything from 2 foot through to 6 foot.
